ABDOMINOPLASTY

surgical procedure performed to prevent excessive sagging of the abdomen. Problems such as weak abdominal muscles, sagging tissues, cracked skin problems can be corrected with abdominoplasty.

WHAT IS ABDOMINATE SURGERY?

Abdominoplasty is the surgery to remove excess fatty tissue in the middle and lower abdomen and to recover sagging skin. This procedure can be performed as a full abdominoplasty and partial (mini) abdominoplasty surgery. The method is decided on the basis of the degree of failure.
Partial abdominoplasty is usually applied in cases of mild failure. In partial abdominoplasty, all skin and excess skin tissue are removed as in full abdominoplasty, but unlike the umbilical region, no stretch is applied.
With this method (which does not treat obesity), abdominal relaxation is recovered under general anesthesia, excess skin and fatty tissues are removed and the skin is stretched.

WHO SHOULD MAKE A Tummy Tuck?

Abdominoplasty is performed for rapid weight gain or loss, or to regain relaxation after childbirth. To do this in overweight people, first of all, one should lose weight with certain diet programs.
Abdominoplasty is not performed unless the planned amount of weight is lost.
If there is a lot of regional fatty tissue in the person's body, but there is no sagging in the skin, then the liposuction method is sufficient and in this case the abdominoplasty is not applied. Surgical procedures can be easily performed in people who are not overweight, but have regional excesses and sagging.
In general, women with multiple births or those who are overweight and lose weight rapidly are the best candidates for abdominoplasty.

HOW IS AN ABDOMINOPLASTY APPLIED?

Our Ialian consultants together with the Turkish team will review the exams of people with excess and decide on the appropriate procedures.
During the operation, excess fatty tissue is removed from the entire abdomen and waist area, excess skin below the navel is removed, and a stretching procedure is applied to the area above the navel. In the mini tummy tuck process, after all excess tissue has been removed, the procedure is completed without stretching the upper belly area.
Abdominoplasty is performed under general anesthesia. The duration of the intervention varies according to the size of the area and whether the application is complete or partial. The operation, which takes 1-2 hours in partial applications, can take 3-4 hours in full abdominoplasty applications.
