LIFTING OF THE EYELVES
Blepharoplasty is the process of surgical removal of the sagging tissue and muscle structure around the eyes.
The aesthetics of the eyelids eliminates problems such as sagging skin, wrinkles, bags under the eyes.
UPPER EYELET AESTHETICS
The structure of the skin begins to lose its elasticity with increasing age.
The heavy sagging of the upper eyelids causes an aesthetically unpleasant appearance. In excessive relaxation, the upper eyelid may drop to close the eye, limiting the person's vision.
LOWER EYELET AESTHETICS
Depressions, bags, puffiness, color changes and fine lines under the eyes are the conditions under which lower eyelid aesthetics are applied.
It is the method used for ailments such as crow's feet, wrinkles on the lower and upper eyelids, color changes under the eyes, bags and tired facial expressions.
It can generally be applied to anyone between the ages of 20 and 80.
HOW IS BLEPHROPLASTIC DONE?
In upper eyelid surgery, the procedure is started by making an incision from the fold lines on the eyelid. In this way, after the surgery, the suture marks on the eyelid are not evident. During the procedure, excess skin and fatty tissue are removed.
In blepharoplasty applied to the lower eyelid, an incision is made in the lower part of the eyelashes. The muscle tissue that causes collapse under the eyes hangs upward, the skin lifts and an even distribution of the fat pockets under the eyes is ensured. If the collapse continues, an injection of fat under the eyes may be performed in addition to blepharoplasty.
